I'm looking for some hardware recommendations on buying a very small
server. Its going to run Linux, needs to NIC's, and about 256MB of
memory, thats about it. nothing else really matters.

Anyone know of something I can just buy? footprint needs to be small as
possible. maybe like the size of a peice of paper or smaller.

Thanks

How about something in Shuttle's XPC series? Footprint is about 1/2"
deeper than 8-1/2" x 11". Overall it's about as big as a toaster.
I'm using one right now, running Kanotix on a 2.6gHz P4 with 512mB.

There's room for one 3.5" HD (and a second if no cd drive). One NIC
on m/b, second in pci slot.

You'll need to install your own CPU, memory and HD.
