VERY slow startup with SCSI card installed

I recently added an older AdvanSys Wide SCSI card to my 2kPro mail server
and it takes forever for Windows to start now. It does eventually start,
but it can take up to 5 minutes. Without the card it will start within 2
minutes. I'm not overly concerned about it because it does eventually start
and runs fine, but just wondered if anyone has seen this and has an idea of
why it might be happening.

Is it sharing an IRQ, I/O address or other resource with another
device (either onboard device or another PCI card)?

Have you tried a different PCI slot?

Are there any jumpers on the card?

Have you checked for an updated driver?

Try going into the SetUp for the SCSI card, and disable the ID scan, for all
the ID's that are not in use.
