I have a PPT 2003 file with 2 slides with no pictures or any large graphics.
When saved it bloated to 15MB. I ran the Size ME add in from Bill Dilworth
and it reported the master slide was massive. I copied the elements of the
slide to a new file with the same design template, saved and it was less than
200K? Any ideas what causes the master to bloat?

Hi, there are some tips to help you reduce the big file size of
PowerPoint, http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HA011168821033.aspx

Alternatively, you could use some 3rd party presentation to help you
convert PowerPoint presentation to Flash with up to 90% file size
reduction. Such as authorpoint (http://www.authorgen.com), PPT2Flash
(PowerPoint add-in, http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash.html#110)
and so on.
