Is there a short cut key to display windows either vertically or
horizontally rather that having to right click the taskbar?
I did say it was very basic!!
 
Just what do you mean by "display windows either vertically
or horizontally" because I'm not sure what you mean.

Do you mean the list of open programs in the task bar being
grouped?

I think he means tile vertically or horizontally.
I have never heard of a shortcut to do that, and there does not seem to be
anything listed in the help and support.
Interesting question.
 
A registry hack would do it, but I don't which register to
change and whether it would be a 0 1 2 or 4
