Very basic question about the "message" control

Reason #716 why I feel stupid when I use Microsoft products:

For the first time, ever, I'm delving into the world of Outlook form
designing. Programming, in general, is not new to me as I've spent many
years making useful applets in Visual Basic. So boy do I feel dumb that I
cannot figure out how to pre-populate the "message" field with data in a
standard Outlook form. I mean, isn't that one of the most basic things
you'd want to do when creating an Outlook form? I can pre-populate the "To"
field. I can pre-populate the "Subject" field. But lo and behold, when I
right click on the "Message" field I get a big, fat STFU from the Outlook
form designer (No "Edit" option on the popup menu). What gives? Please
tell me I'm not missing something really obvious.

I'd appreciate any assistance I can get.

Thanks in advance,

Steven

If you want text in the message body of a custom form, add it before you put the form into design mode.
