crying here. If the one you're referring to is
one sent to you by Microsoft, there is
information at the bottom of the email they sent
you with contact information.

Maybe it's a good thing because of all the problems people are having. It's
a new file format so most of the Windows xp software will not work with it.

Most of the software I've installed works fine.
Generally a new operating system requires an new antivirus so your issue
with Symantec is extremely old news.
I am sure I have heard reports of Office 2007 installing and running OK.
But even so, Beta on Beta is generally a bad idea and rarely if ever
supported by Microsoft.
Other programs may need to use the compatibility option.
