DOES ANYONE IN THE GROUP KNOW HOW TO BUILD A SPREADSHEET
SO THAT THE TEXT ENTRIES IN A ROW ARE VERTICAL IN THE
SHEET? I NEED TO BUILD A MATRIX WITH "X'S" IN IT AS A
CROSS REFERENCE TABLE BETWEEN SOME 350 LIGHTING FIXTURE
NUMBERS TO A LIST OF FIXTURE MANUFACTURER, MODEL NOS.,ETC.
I WOULD LIKE TO PUT THE FIXTURE NUMBERS DOWN THE LEFT SIDE
OF THE SPREADSHEET AND THE MANUFACTURER INFO VERTICALLY IN
THE TOP ROW. IF I CAN'T DO THIS, THE SHEET GETS TOO WIDE
TO PRACTICALLY PRINT.

HELP!

Hi
if I understood you correctly goto 'Format - Cells - Alignment' and
change the direction of the text.
Frank
P.S.: Please turn off your caps lock as it is hard to read and
considered rude (shouting)

Frank,
Whoever you are, thank you. I had never tried to do this
before and had never noticed the little "sideways gas
gauge" out to the right of the format text pop up. Thanks
so much. Also, sorry for the all caps. Bad habit, I
guess. I wear rather thick glasses and I find the caps
much easier to read. Also, techs tend to want to print in
Large Cap/Small Cap font, which does not send to bulletin
board.

Much thanks for your instruction.
