How can I make my vertical scrollbar wider?

Right-click a blank area of Desktop, then click on Properties in pop-up
menu. In dialog box, click on Appearance tab>Advanced button. In second
dialog box, click on upside-down triangle under Item to get list. Then
click on Scroll Bar in list; this highlights only size;all other items are
greyed out. Then click on up-pointing triangle to increase number. Note:
this affects both horizontal and vertical scroll bars. OK and Apply-OK to
close.

You're welcome :) Guess Microsoft figured they were building the better
mouse trap. We all know what that led to...
