Vertical line charts

We are currently using scatter graphs to show data but this means we have to
add a text box or table to the slide to show labels. Are we able to change a
line graph to vertical?

I'm not sure what you mean by "are we able to change a line graph to
vertical."

To add labels to a scatter chart, you can use Rob Bovey's chart labeler
add-in, but you'll have to do the chart in Excel.
