What is the earliest version of Microsoft Office that works on Vista? I have
the Windows 95 version and it worked okay on XP but will not install on my
Vista Home Premium.
Thank you for any response.

I've seen reports that Office 97 works -- it isn't supported.

I've tried Office 2000 and Office XP as well as Office 2003 and Office
2007.

Office 2000 and 2002 will install but have some minor issues.
Office 2003 is fully compatible.

Running Office 2000 with Home Premium... I could open Outlook contacts and
read them, but could not edit or save new ones. At least I had access to my
contacts! After two weeks, I can no longer access them, screen comes up
saying it can't find. Any suggestions? Will Office 2007 be able to find
them?
Thanks
