At work Version Office 2002; at home XP2000:
Saving excel workbook at home, the "sheet tabs" and
right slide bars will not show when opened at work.
View is fine on the XP2002. Did not have this problem
with the Office 97 version. Have the newer version at
work now.
I did protect/lock the sheets before copying it to CD.
Is this a compatibility problem?
Do I have to unlock all the sheets before copying, or can
this be rectified when copying onto the 2002 at work?

I get a little confused with the detail of your question but all versions of
XL from 97 up are compatible with each other. You may loose some features
if you go back to earlier versions, but the file formats are the same

Your references to XP2000 and XP2002 do not make sense.

Neither of these is an Office suite nor a Windows Operating System.

I am assuming you have Office 2002(aka Office XP) at work and Office 2000 at
home. Is this correct?

Check Tools>Options>View>Windows Options section for checkmarks in "Sheet
Tabs" and "Vertical Scrollbar". You may have them un-checked.
