Is it possible that gridlines can only be turned on and off, not customized?
I'm trying to create a guideline to line up adjacent baselines of text, and
I can't find where V07 offers that...

I think the feature you're looking for is the one where you create a Run
Program Action Setting that launched Corel Draw. PPT's never had basline snap
that I know of (didn't Draw add it only w/in the last couple versions?)

Possible workaround; for each text box you need to align:

Set the text box's alignment to bottom
Set the text box's bottom margin to a consistent value

That won't align baselines to guides but with luck it'll give you the same
offset from bottom of text box (which DOES snap to grid) and the text baseline.

Probably only works if all the text is the same size.
