VERRRRY slow start-up

When restarting the computer last night it took nearly 10
minutes before I could access ANY programs. The error log
says "waiting for a transaction response from the cisvc
service" and another error msg "The Distributed
Transaction Coordinator service terminated with service-
secific error 3221229584." HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM
BEFORE MY WIFE HURTS ME????? HELP
 
Try this: (this will resolve the 3221229584 Error. Not
sure if your second error message is link whit this error.
Let me known if this help.

Windows 2000
01. Start / Run / MMC / OK.
02. On the Console menu, press Add/Remove Snap-in and
press Add.

03. Select Component Services and press Add and Close the
window.

04. Press OK in the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog.

05. Expand Component Services.

06. In the Computers node, right-click the computer that
is generating the error and then press Properties.

07. Select the Advanced tab.

08. Change the location of the log file to %SystemRoot%
\System32\Dtclog.

09. Press Reset Log.

10. Start the MSDTC service.

Continued MSG

I followed the instruction until the computer hung up on
Step 6. When I rt. click the computer icon the computer
comes back with "ERROR code 8004E00F - COM+ Could not talk
to the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator."
Anything else you can think of???? Thanks
