Veritas Update Manager

I have a new computer with Record Now preinstalled. Every
time I boot up it is trying to install something. Error
message reads error 1707. An installation package not
found try again with valid copy of SGuard.msi. What can I
do?

Suggest you contact your OEM support for your computer. The pre-installed
Veritas software may be configured specifically for your OEM. If your OEM
provided you a CD for pre-installed applications {as Sony does}, then I
suggest you go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and select Veritas
Record Now and remove the application. Then use the OEM CD to re-install.
