Veritas Bckups

We are trying to use Veritas back up software installed on a windows
2000 machine. We are getting an error message, which states we do not
have the correct license, however we are only backing up a single
folder from a mapped drive to a Linux machine (which does not require
license) and there is a valid license for the software. Has anyone
ever had a similar problem if so what was done to resolve this?

This isn't really the right group for your question as it's not
related to Microsoft hardware nor is the product a Microsoft one.

I'm not familiar with the error you're getting but you may find the
Knowledge Base on Veritas' own web site to be helpful.
