Verifying ports

Hello,
I know I've read, and seen, this in the past, but I'm
having trouble verifying the allowed/denied ports that are
being used on the WAN side of my VPN NIC.

I used the VPN setup wizard during the build and
everything works fine. However, I want to be sure that
only 1723 and 47 (PPTP connection) are being allowed.

I found this info once on an earlier build, but just can't
seem to find it on this new one.

Or is anyone aware of a tool to verify this and the VPN's
security?

Open up Routing and Remote Access, go to - IP Rounting,
General and then highlight your external (Wan) interface.
Right click and select properties. Under the first tab
(General) you will see a "Input filters.." and a "Output
Filters.." button. That's where you check your open
ports. If they are blank then you are letting in all
traffic.

Also by going into Help and typing in "input filters"
or "output filters" will give you the info you need to
fill in the fields.
