I converted a wma video to vcd in order to play it on my DVD player. I then
lost the wma video. I would like to be able to play the video on window
media player but it will not play. Do I need to convert it back to wma file?
Is it possible to do that? I have window media player version 10.

Something to try but no guarantee...

Place the VCD in your DVD drive.

Open Windows Media Player.

Go to...File / Open...

Browse to and Select the drive that the
VCD is in.

If you find a folder named: MPEGAV
open it.

At the bottom of the window...open the
"Files of type" drop window and choose...
"Any File"

You should see something like:
XXXXXXX.DAT

Double click the .dat file and maybe it
will play.
