hi
I just burned a VCD(MPEG1) on a CD-R at my frinds place.
I am unable to view the VCD using Windows Media player 9
or even detect the VCD filesystem properly under windows 2K
on my laptop (Toshiba CD-ROM)
However the same CD-R containing the VCD information when
used in a Windows XP system works fine. The XP Media player
plays it fine. The XP Explorer detects the VCD filesystem
on the CD fine and is even able to successfully copy it
from the CD-ROM to the Hard disk.
I am led to believe that Windows 2000 is not able to read
and detect the VCD filesystem consistently or is too strict
with error. Is there a Windows 2K patch available to get
around this problem.
Would greatly appreciate any help
regards
