vCard Problem

I am having a problem receiving vCards.

I am using Outlook 2003 with a POP3 server.

When someone "forwards" me a contact, I receive an empty email. If the
person uses "Forward as vCard", I receive the vCard.

What is causing this problem? And what can I do to fix it? (Other than
asking everyone to use forward as vcard?)

Thanks,
John

You can't do anything to fix it. The solution lies totally with the sender. Forward as vCard is the simplest solution. Otherwise, they need to check the properties for your address, make sure that it's set for rich-text, and also send you the contact as an attachment to a rich-text format message.

Sue,

Interesting. I never ran into it before.

I just tried a test with two different computers and email addresses. I can
forward from 1 to 2 and receive a vcard. When I forward from 2 to 1, I get
the blank email msg.

I am curious, how do I check the properties for the address?

Thanks,
John

To check the properties of a recipient, double-click the underlined email address.
