Hello All
I am an all new member to this site. Could anyone tell me what th
difference between VC++ Releases 5 and 6 are??
Foun good tutorial for VC++ 5.....how applicable will it be for Vc+
6??

VC5 - really ancient compiler from 1997
VC6 - really ancient compiler from 1998

I recall that going from VC5 to VC6 was a bit of a change, but I can't give
you any specifics (perhaps someone else can).

VC++ 6 is great to learn C90! :-)

I can clearly remember one (not a compiler specific change though): the help
becoming external with vc6. Those were the times I started really getting
into the win32 api, and what a pain it was to switch between the ide and the
help window all the time.
