I have discovered that when I close a workbook that contains a macro, the
VBA Project for the workbook remains open. If I create a new workbook, save
it as Book 1.xls, then create a simple macro in it and then save and close
it, when I open another book (Book2) if I look in the VB Code Editor I see
the VBAProject (Book1.xls) even though this file is closed. Does anyone know
what would be causing this or how to fix?
I discovered this when I was doing some automation and I ran out of memory
and I noticed that Excel kept consuming more and more memory as workbooks
were be opened and closed
I am using Excel 2003 SP-1 on Windows 2000 SP-4.
TIA
