i have an access application on a server ,when accessing it from some new
locations (desktops) using the same version of access (XP), an error occured
: "the visual basic for application in the database is corrupt". but i still
accessing it from many other desktops without errors. what is the
problem???!!!!

Check the status of your Access install on the working machines and the
problem machines.
They should all be the same (ie Service Pack 3)

If your database is not split with the application on each workstation and
the data on the server, STOP right now. From one of the working machines, do
a Compact and Repair, then make a copy of the database and split it. Put a
linked copy on each workstation. Failing to do that may result in
irreparable corruption.

To make that process easier see the free Auto FE Updater utility see
http://www.autofeupdater.com to keep the FE on each PC up to date.
