VBA-Help: Problem in accessing the search function

When accessing the VBA Help index in Excel 2000, The
cursor changes in the search box to a "<-->" shape and I'm
unable to input text.

Has anyone experienced the same and know how to rectify
it. I've tried re-installing to no avail.

I cured my problem by going to Add/Remove programs, Microsoft Office Change,
Add or Remove Features.
Click on the + next to Office Tools then click the small computer next to
Visual Basic Help. I changed this to Run from my Computer and then Updated
Now.
