VBA help not installed

When I try to debug Excel vba code and I click on help, I
get a message that says that the help file has not be
installed or is corrupted, but I have installed the
entire version of office 2003 except for Outlook. I have
refreshed it and tried to correct for errors to no
avail. How can I install the help file?
 
Don, did you do a full install for Excel? Don't remember about 2003 but in
some versions I had to go back and do a custom install to get the VBA help
files.

Thanks for your suggestion. When I originally installed
Office 2003, I selected the option for installing
everything except Outlook. It was my intention to
install all features including help, tutorials, etc.
When I ran into this problem, I went back and selected
the add/remove software button, and was presented the
option of installing the four applications, Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, and Outlook. I ran the install again, but it
didn't give me the option to select individual features.
I assume that the reason it didn't give me the option to
install individual features is because I installed
everything originally. Am I doing this wrong? Should I
uninstall and reinstall?
 
Don, when you go to add and remove programs and pick office pick change and
check choose advanced customization applications, look under office shared
features, visual basic for applications, visual basic help and see what is
there, you should be able to load it from there.
