OK - I have an ADP that I have been working on for over 2 years now. It is
about 10MB, connected to an SQL 2000 Server (SP3). A couple of days ago, I
started having this problem. I am running XP Pro (SP1). Because of some
integration we use in this app, SP2 is not usable. It breaks the
integration due to an ADO issue.
When ever I get to a point in the VBE that will show auto fill options, it
crashes Access.
i.e. Dim strTest AS (CRASH)
I spent all day yesterday uninstalling Office, all Windows updates I could
and trying to clean the registry as much as I could. I then got the
brilliant idea this morning to try a couple of other Access files. Guess
what - They worked fine!
So, I created a new adp and imported everything to start off fresh...It
still won't work. I went back to a version from a week ago...It still won't
work. There is something in this app that is having a MAJOR issue with the
VBE.
Any suggestions?????
TIA,
Jim
