OK, I'm living my worst nightmare.

I have an xl2000 wb, which for whatever reason decided the last time I saved
it to increase in size from about 35MB to something in the order of 50MB.

The file is now corrupt, and I can't open it. The truth is, I can almost
live without the worksheet info, but I desparately need the VBA code within
the wb.

Is there ANY way I can retrieve the VBA modules from the wb through ANY
means, other than having to open the wb through xl (since this is no longer
an option. Result --> "File Error. Data may have been lost", followed by a
GPF and there goes xl.

I'll take any leads, and don't mind paying for the service. I need these
code modules really, really badly.

Sometimes you can open the file if you set the recalculation option to
manual. To do this, follow these steps:
1.. Start Excel.

You should see a blank workbook on the screen.
2.. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3.. Click the Calculation tab.
4.. In the Calculation section, click Manual, and then click OK.
5.. On the File menu, click Open and try to open the file.

If you can get access to a copy of Excel 2002 it has a
and Open and Repair command

There are a number of data recovery programs around but AFAIK
they typically do not get back VBA modules
