Hi all,
I found a simple macro that assigns new language settings to a complete PPT.
I can add the macro to a presentation and run it.

How do I make a global (generally available) macro and possibly even add it
as an icon to the icon bars.

Thanks for the starting point. I evaluated two sources and made two PPTs
according to the insctructions
but I always get "no valid addin".

I put the source ppts here (surely I did rename to ppa to try):
http://www.lowicki.de/ppa/

Any help/hint is greatly appreciated.

Best regards
Daniel

Renaming it to PPA is like putting a "Sugar" label on the salt container.
It doesn't turn the salt into sugar and it makes the coffee taste bad.

You need to do File, Save As and SAVE your PPT as a PPA.
If you do that, it should work fine. It seems to work ok here.

This FAQ gives you the step-by-step instructions:

Create an ADD-IN with TOOLBARS that run macros
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00031.htm

overread exactly that point. Since renaming ppts to pps and pot works I assumed
the same is valid for this procedure.

Thanks for the pointer .. I'll give it a try when I get back to work
