VB scripts ??

In another thread about MSCONFIG, someone mentioned a vb program from
Kelly's, a website I am familiar with.

I've looked at some of the vb scripts offered on the site and am quite
puzzled as to what one does with them. How are they used / entered into
a system such as XP Home?

A simple explanation, if one exists, would be appreciated.

You don't they are scripts used in html code on web sites.
to run a "normal" program on Windows it must be *compiled* ie have a exe or
..com extension.
