I'm trying to learn VB .net using the standard version
and a book on OOP. In the current chapter the book asks
me to create a project using a "Windows Control Library"
template - which does not seem to be available to me. Is
this because I'm using the "standard" version of the
software? If so, can I just create the components as a
windows project and access them in approximately the same
way?

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Mitchell

Cor,

Thanks for the quick answer. You know, about a year ago
when I purchased vb I saw the page that you directed me
to, and I actually did look for it again - but I couldn't
find it! That tells me that I can't create the reusable
component the book is trying to teach me to make.

I'm going to make the components as a regular project and
see if I can use them the way the book suggests - at
least I'll learn something.

Thanks again,

Mitchell
