Using Office 2000.
Every time I load Excel I get a Visual Basic error about a missing registry
entry. I can click "OK" and work fine, but would like to do without the error
message every time I use Excel!

I have tried to "Repair" the application through the "Repair" option under
Help. That goes through a lot of hoopla, but doesn't fix the problem.

I have even tried to uninstall and reinstall. I Can't Uninstall!!!

Hi Kfen,

This sounds like an add-in is causing havoc. See my pages about startup trouble:

You can try to reregister excel, maybe, it could be a solution.
Start excel from windows start menu, go to Start Button-> run, and then in
box enter path to excel.exe and add " /o" at the end of path it should look
like:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE\EXCEL.EXE" /o

click ok and cross fingers. If this not work, try to add " /regserver"
instead " /o".

I'm not sure this will solve your problem ,but you can give a try.

One correction/explanation. With
Start excel from windows start menu

I didn't mean it to start it by clicking on excel icon, first close it if it
is open, and than start it using run comand.
