Varying recurrence dates

I'm setting up our company's payroll schedule for 2004.
We pay our employees on the 10th and 25th of each month.
Because many of our employees are paid commission, the
department managers must submit the payroll info for
their departments before each payroll is processed. I
need the info a couple of days before each payroll.
These days vary because of weekends and holidays.
Question -- Is it possible to set up a task or event in
Outlook that recurs at different intervals. For
instance, if I create a task, can I have it occur on the
10th and 20th of January, then the 13th and 22nd of
February, and so on?
I would like to create the task, then email it to the
department managers, so they can put it in their
Outlook. Unfortunately, some of them tend to foget about
turning in their info. I figured it would be easier to
send it to them as one recurring task, rather than 24
individual tasks. Thanks a lot.

You might want to look at a 3rd party add-in called WS:Repeat Appointment
that allows you to choose a more customized pattern for recurring
appointments. Details here:

HI
I also have the same issue here where I work. I
downloaded the demo from the website you suggested. It
worked very well for my calendar but when I emailed the
repeat apointments to the rest of the team they did not
get anything but the first date when they accepted. Any
suggestions

Sorry, I don't have any personal experience with that particular
add-in...you may want to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help.

Thanks for the help. Perhaps it did not work when you
sent it to the other users becuase they had not installed
the add-in on their computers. Thanks again for all the
help. Mike

Thanks I have.
Sure wish microsoft would fix this issue. But the add-in
does have a great interface works real smooth until you
send to anyone but your self.
