There are three basic flavours, the X800 Pro, Pro + VIVO and XT.
I don't think there are any bad manufactures all the boards look pretty
much like the ATi reference design.
Some get fancy with heatsinks, there may be variations in GPU and memory
clock speeds. There are variations in what else you get in the box. When I
looked Asus had a load of extras for little extra price.
I went for a connect3D Pro VIVO. Connect3D because that was all I could
find in stock at the time and VIVO because the GPU on the VIVO can be
hacked to enable an extra 4 pipelines. If one had been available I would
probably have got one with extra goodies from Asus.
The situation may have changed. Look at the card specs and the extras, look
around the online forums for info on modding and overclocking if you are
into that.
