Is there a link, place, or office where all possible
values of for the sCurrency key is given and can be seen?
The sCurrency value is under the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\sCurrency
Who in microsoft & on what basis is the list adminstrated?
Does Microsoft have it's own currency codes or are they
standarized and based on something established by some
international organisation, or something to that effect??
When an interntional windows app is written with access to
a database with its own currency codes. The client only
knows the sCurrency value while the server knows the
currency codes particular the application data. The above
inquiry is in order to be able to make a mapping between
the application currency codes and microsofts.
For eks. the Danish Krone kan be DKR or KR...
It is pretty well straitforward and might as well go for
other keys under the Windows 2000 registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\
But it is a list for sCurrency which has my attention (&
how and who administers it).
