#value

My formula A1*B1*C1 is giving me #value. I have determined that the problem is in B1. This value is linked to another sheet and the formatting on both sheets is the same ACCOUNTING 2 decimals. If I overtype the value in B1 it clears the error. I have tried copying formats to make it work and I cannot find anything to work. Any ideas

Isn't B1 also showing #VALUE. If so, fix the fault in that formula. For in
stance, you could use =IF(ISERROR(formula),0,formula).
