I've installe an update fom a non-legal vista over XP-Pro by selecting "Vista
ultimate". Afterwards i bought a legal copy of "Vista Ultimate". First the
new key was accepted but the online-Validation fails, there is no logon
possible without validation again.
Is there any possibility to correct this?
I don't want to loose all of my installation data...

TIA
Tom

Hello Tom,
What do you mean by validation? Do you mean activation?
What do you mean by fails? Is there an error message? What happens when it
fails? What fails exactly?
Thanks,

Hi Darrel,
this meant "activation"... but - I saved my data... made a fresh install -
everything is ok. Could not wait longer....

Thanks

Tom
