Validating my XP license key

I am a Sys Admin and I have a Select agreement with
Microsoft. This gives me one unlock key for all of my
Windows XP installs. I put my Select unlock key in the
Microsoft website to validate my system and it failed. I
went ahead and did the alternate validation and that
works. Will that always work in the future for all of my
users or do I need to get another Select unlock key from
Microsoft?

This question is not related to Microsoft AntiSpyware.
You should contact your Microsoft representative immediately to identify the
problem.
 
You might try doing a validation via this link:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/ww/windows/default.mspx

Keep an eagle eye out for support links or links to communicate directly
with Microsoft about this feature--you need to get this answered by someone
directly involved with that validation process, and I haven't got such a
link handy at the moment--but any link you find during the process would
probably do it.

Let me know if you get blown off or can't find a link and I'll dig deeper.
