Valid BroadBand Connection but no Internet :S

Hi, i can pinj to and from my broadband company however when i load internet
explorer nothing seems to happen, Technical support say that it is windows
fault, how can i fix this?

Have you clicked on Start - Control Panel - Network Setup Wizard and let
Windows give the connection setup a shot?
