If you are going on vacation and want to let people know
that you are away when they send their messages, how do
you do this? Thanks

You can do it with message rules, but your computer would have to be left on
with OE running and set to check for mail every ## minutes. As soon as
there was a problem everything would stop.

See if your mail server offers such a service.

Do you really want everyone to know that you will not be
home ?? Great tip for a break-in !
In that case contact your ISP and ask them to set an
automatic reply on your mailbox. You cannot do this from
your own machine.
