v1.0.615 is not saving my settings, and disables auto-updating andscheduling.

AntiSpyware would not save any of my custom settings. It does not save
my scan schedule, or my autoupdate schedule. Additionally, it would not
run an autoscan. I had this problem using a previous version (614 I
believe), so i downloaded and installed 615. 615 runs, and claims to be
using definitions 5739, but it still does not save my settings.

Can anyone help?

Please ensure that you are logged in under an account with Administrator
rights, the same account that installed Microsoft AntiSpyware in the first
place.

If the above is already the case, then try this:

1. in control panel Add or Remove Programs, uninstall Microsoft AntiSpyware.
2. delete the directory C:\Program Files\Microsfot AntiSpyware\ and all its
contents.
3. Reinstall build 615 of Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Update: I cleared all of my caches, uninstalled AntiSpyware and deleted
the folder, and emptied Recycle Bin. I restarted, and then reinstalled
AntiSpyware. It appears as if all is working again, but I will find out
in a few hours.
