Back when I was running win98 I installed a file called "Alternate
cdfs.vxd" - it was a replacement CD driver that enabled cd audio files to be
seen/read in explorer as ordinary wave files. A great utility, ideal for
using in audio production software and it eliminated the need to rip cd's.

Unfortunately it only works under Win9x. Anybody know of a similar utility
that works under XP?

thanks
