Hi

I've just squeezed another drive in to the last space possible to do so in
my case.

As its not right behind the air intake fan like the other drives it feels
warmer to the touch than all the others even though its just idling - the
drive isn't accessed at the moment as it doesn't contain any data yet.

I'd be interested to know what my drive temps are so I can determine if this
could be a problem in the long term.

Are there any applications which would tell me my drive temps?

I've now got six drives in my case - two of which are a RAID 1 pair

Thanks

Ian

Speedfan and Everest will show you the SMART temp of the non raid drives.

Hi Rod

Just installed Everest Home Editon v 2.2 but alas it doesnt display drives
temps. I guess I'd need the latest and paid for verison to include that.

I'll try speedfan

Thanks for the quick reply.
