Hello a.c.f. members,
I am looking for a freeware that does the following:
1. Opens a program with its window minimized (to tray) and then
2. Exits
I don't want it to stay running, it has to do just one thing at
startupand should close itself afterwards. I browsed through Internet
and found only desktop managers, minimizers etc. that must stay in
memory what, in my case is needless.
Maybe there is a 'simple' Windows command that should be passed to
an application?
Thanks in advance for any hints.
P.S. I found quite a lot of interesting info in this newsgroup so
far, that's really a good load of software you are digging out ;-)

I don't think such a tool exists, because if it sends your application
to the systray, it needs to handle the mouseclicks to maximize the
window again. Therefore, it *has* to stay in memory.

Here are two alternatives:

TrayIconizer (only 4KB!)

TrayWizard
