Some of my XP Pro shell extensions seem to be playing hide and seek or
behaving inconsistently recently (WinRAR & IZARC eg, though both co-existed
happily until last week). I'd like something to restore XP (Pro preferably,
but ....) shell extensions to system installation defaults. Ideally one
that can remove extensions on a save/restore basis. Oh yes PLEASE
In passing, I'm a sucker for "handy" extensions. Would there be some limit
to the number tolerated by XP? My registry is nowhere near it's notional
maximum size, but perhaps some individual sub-key has
Any info much appreciated. This is my main prob right now. Could be worse,
but I suspect ACF leads many of us into the paths of Utilititis. Too many
clever buggers out there pushing their filthy (But reliable and
