Click start/run, type msconfig and click ok. Go to the startup task, disable
the line that loads this QuickTime utility - it's not necessary for normal
operation of the program.
Uninstall QuickTask and then delete every single reference of it you can find in your file structure and in the registry - and there will be plenty. It has a VERY dirty uninstall - right up there with MSN and AOL.
