SETUP: I've got seven (7) XP Pro workstations, SBS 2003 domain
controller and a Windows 2003 Enterprise terminal server.

OBJECTIVE: We want to force users to the remote desktop connection
login so they use the terminal server and not their local machines.
We'll slowly migrate them to true, solid-state thin clients. However,
since we have XP Pro, we might as well utilize those licenses and the
existing hardware.

QUESTION: Is there a setting I can make to the domain controller or
user accounts to make this happen?

Thanks in advance!

No.

There is nothing simple you can do to a XP Pro or other Windows OS to make
it automatically run only mstsc.exe, but there are a lot of alternatives,
most of which are linux images.

XP Pro computers do NOT receive grace connections to 2003 Terminal Servers,
as happened with 2000 Terminal Server.

Check here for free Linux distributions you can use to boot directly to the
Remote Desktop Connection, i.e. Wilis & Thinstation.
