I bought a new monitor (Go Video TW1730), and there
doesn't seem to be a specific driver for it. This
monitor is also a 16:9 HDTV, but I'm using it as my
computer monitor and I'd like to be able to view my
desktop and applications in 16:9. Unfortunately when I
try to do this the monitor stretches out everything on
the screen. I'd like to find a way to use this monitor's
full screen without the items on the screen being so
distorted. I'm told that one way to do this would be to
get the computer to send an anamorphic signal to the
monitor, but I'm not sure.
Is there any way to get around this without a driver? Or
are there any generic drivers I could use? Help!
