using XP built-in ICF

Hi,

Can you configure the XP built-in firewall so that it
doesn't block other computers on a LAN? I have a local
area network and would like to use it.

The XP ICF is only meant to be used on your connection to the Internet.
It cannot be configured to be used on your LAN that is connecting computers
in an office or home. You would need a third-party fire wall program that
can
be configured to distinguish between the Internet connection and the Local
Area
Connection and you would need to enable and configure Internet Connection
Sharing to
accomplish that.

If you are using a Broadband connection to the Internet, you would be best
off purchasing
a router and install it between your Broadband connection and the computers.
