Is it possible to configure "wireless" routers to relay
through each other (adding distance)? I have a Linksys
Booster but need to relay even further.

Thanks in advance,

Holly

depends. the newer G routers support using G access points and the WDS
(wireless distribution system). what exactly do you have for hardware?

I'm using a Linksys broadband wireless router (802.11b)
with Linksys booster. All systems have either Linksys or
Belkin adapters (802.11b). Everything works fine as is
but I need to move a few laptops to an adjacent warehouse
and would like to add an additional wireless
router/access point and use it as a relay to the hotspot.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

depends on which Linksys wireless router you have. you may be able to
use a WAP11 to repeat the signal - check the Linksys forum on
DSLreports.

Barb:

Thank you for your help! I have a Linksys broadband
router and you can only do point to point with the
WAP11. I may return my broadband router for a WAP11.

Thanks again,

Holly Cate
