Using Wireless P.C. Cards..More secure than Cable?

Can someone tell me if using my Verizon P.C. Wireless Card is more secure
when going online than using my basic cable line from my internet provider?

Both methods ultimately connect you to a large network, the Internet.
Ask yourself the basic questions?
- Do I have antivirus
- Is the anti-virus up to date
- Is my operating system fully patched
- Do I have a local firewall?
- Is the firewall enabled?
- Do I have a tool for scanning, detecting, and removing
malware/spyware?

Really, no big difference between then, other than you would potentially
leave a cable connection up for longer durations.

I don't know how the Verizon P.C. Wireless Card is setup but make sure that
it is using a strong authentication and encryption method as any wireless
connection should. Also keep in mind that any SSL secure website session
will be encrypted for either of your situations. Brain listed some really
important points as most problems come from users opening infected email
attachments, visiting websites with malicious content, or downloading
malicious content knowingly or unknowingly. Each of your situations is
vulnerable to that.
