using windows xp to create a website

I'm making a website now using my personal pc and my OS is Windows XP Home
Edition. Is there a difference/problem of using this edition instead of the
Professional Edition? Ty.

Well, I have had no problems with XP Home and I don't expect any
 
On your PC you will be limited to disc based webs
- only Windows Pro supports local server based webs

Professional has IIS which lets your PC run like a web server (for testing
Frontpage features, ASP etc) - not recommended for actual hosting without
taking into consideration the security risks etc - host with a professional
company.
